“Prado,” the Spanish word for “meadow,” evokes a tranquil place where each patient and family may arrive in their hospice journey—a gentle clearing touched by peace. Whether surrounded by blossoms, animals, or kindred souls, we are honored to walk beside you with grace, dignity and offering compassionate end-of-life care in every step.”

Prado Hospice offers compassionate bereavement services as part of our holistic end-of-life care. These services are designed to support families and caregivers after the passing of a patient, helping them navigate grief and emotional healing.
Our program includes:
- Counseling & Emotional Support: Trained social workers or chaplains provide one-on-one and group counseling to help individuals process loss and grief.
- Spiritual Care: Support is available for those seeking comfort through spiritual or religious guidance.
- Resources & Referrals: Families may receive educational materials, referrals to community support groups, and access to grief-related resources.
- Follow-Up Services: Bereavement care with our team continues for 13 months after the patient’s passing, ensuring ongoing support tailored to each family’s needs.
These services are part of Prado Hospice’s commitment to caring not just for the patient, but for the entire family unit—before, during, and after the end-of-life journey.
